Protesters are planning a sit-in at the Aurora City Council meeting Monday to demand a meeting on the termination of the city’s police chief.
The group, organized by Epitome of Black Excellence, said in a news release that they will formally demand a meeting with City Manager Jason Batchelor, Public Safety Committee Chair Rob Andrews and Mayor Pro Tem Alison Coombs “regarding the community’s demand for the termination of Aurora Police Chief Todd Chamberlain.”
