A grand jury has indicted 12 defendants with 187 counts in a multi-state vehicle scheme, according to a news release by the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
The scheme involved alleged car theft, forgery, predatory car towing, defrauding creditors, the Colorado Department of Revenue and insurance companies and selling frauduelently owned vehicles, the release said.
