The mechanics at Accurate Automotive body shop in Northglenn, CO are helping TikTok users cut through the noise with honest reviews of various car brands and their insight on some of the worst things about each one . On Jan. 24, the company posted a video breaking down the five car brands that had the costliest repairs in 2023. The methodology is simple: “We took all of the cars that we worked on, created averages, took out the big tickets, [and] took out the little tickets,” an employee said.
“At number five, and I’m a little surprised this didn’t come in a little higher on the list, is Land Rover [and] Range Rover ,” he said. Ram Trucks followed in fourth place. “This does not surprise me at all,” he stated plainly of Ram’s inclusion. “We do a lot of camshafts and timing chains on these trucks. Our local dealership just isn’t able to do it, so we do it here. So that is no surprise to me at all.”
