FBI pursuing 22-year-old cold case of 3 shot, killed at Littleton bowling alley

DENVER ( KDVR ) — The FBI Denver published a renewed plea on Friday for information regarding a cold case from Jan. 27, 2002, where three individuals were shot and killed.

According to the agency, Erin Golla, Robert “Bobby” Zajac and James Springer were shot to death inside the closed AMF Broadway Bowling Alley in Littleton at about 11:50 p.m. Golla and Springer were the last two employees to close the bowling alley that night, and Zajac was identified as a frequent customer of the business.

Before they could leave the bowling alley, the trio came into contact with an unknown male who shot them to death during an apparent robbery, according to the FBI Denver.

Police chase ends in Rocky Mountain National Park

A friend later arrived to pick up one of the victims and entered the bowling alley where they found the victims and called the police.

The suspect is described as a white male weighing approximately 220 pounds and approximately 6 feet tall with a muscular build. He also had a bald, shaved head.
