Caught on camera: Did this Denver porch pirate just deliver a pizza?

DENVER (KDVR) — A doorbell camera appeared to catch a chain pizza delivery driver stealing a package after delivering a pizza in the area.

It happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of Emerson Street in Denver.

Anthony Torres told FOX31 that at first, he believed the alleged porch pirate was posing as a delivery driver until his neighbor confirmed they had a pizza delivered around the same time of the theft. Neighbors also spotted a delivery car parked outside.

It wasn’t until the next day that he saw the video showing exactly what happened.

In a seven-minute video obtained by FOX31, you can see what appears to be a pizza delivery driver walking around apartments in the area. About 4 minutes later, he can be seen stuffing a package inside a pizza carrier before leaving and walking away.

“We’re trying to figure out what’s going on,” Torres said.

Torres was shocked to look back at his footage the next day to find his package swiped.
