DENVER (KDVR) — As the migrant influx continues to tax local governments, including in Denver, lawmakers continue calls for Congress and the White House to do more.
On this week’s “ Colorado Point of View ,” U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet echoed those calls . He said the Biden administration needs to do more to help.
Bennet also discussed his vote against conditional aid for Israel and government funding talks.
Meanwhile, George Brauchler and state Rep. Leslie Herod address the statehouse shakeup after now-former Minority Leader Mike Lynch’s DUI became public. Also, Colorado lawmakers are looking for a do-over on eviction protections.
