Northglenn neighbors frustrated with ongoing violence in their community

NORTHGLENN, Colo. (KDVR) — Neighbors in a Northglenn community are on edge after a disturbing video of gunfire was caught on a security camera.

Every neighbor FOX31 spoke to feared doing an on-camera interview. What worries them is they believe they know the gunman in the video.

The startling sound of gunshots stunned neighbors around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Parkview Townhomes in Northglenn. In the video, you see four people in the group: two male and two female.

It appears the stunt was planned, because at least one of them looks like she’s taking cell phone video. Another backs up and puts her hands on her face.

Police told FOX31 they were investigating, and five shell casings were found in the area.

The ages of those in the video were unclear, as was why they chose the particular area in between townhomes to fire that gun.

Northglenn neighbors fed up with disruptions

It’s what had neighbors scared Thursday afternoon. They say it’s an extremely dangerous and potentially deadly situation if any of those bullets were to hit a person coming back down.
