Car break-in at Colorado trailhead leads to shopping spree
DENVER ( KDVR ) — Deputies in Jefferson County want to talk to a group of suspected thieves for allegedly breaking into a car at a trailhead.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office , on Dec. 30, 2023, a car parked at a trailhead at Titan and Bear Creek roads was broken into. The thieves allegedly broke a window and stole the purse from inside.
Deputies said the suspects were caught on camera after the break-in and used the victim’s debit card at the King Soopers on West Alameda Parkway in Lakewood.
