Who murdered these 3 people in Westminster 25 years ago?

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Twenty-five years later, Westminster police are still looking for information that will help solve three homicides.

On Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, Sarah Skiba, her father Paul Skiba and Lorenzo Chivers, who worked for Paul at the Tuff Movers moving company, returned to the business at 6:15 p.m. after completing a move. Tuff Movers was located near the 7100 block of Raleigh Street in Westminster.

According to the Westminster Police Department , 9-year-old Sarah was set to return to her mother’s house that evening but never made it.

Feb. 7, 1999, was the last day anyone saw Sarah, Paul and Chivers alive.

“It’s a tragedy. We have three people murdered, their families forever changed. A 9-year-old girl murdered, and their bodies never recovered,” said AC Stutson, commander of investigations with the Westminster Police Department. “It’s tragic, and these families have to live with this every day.”

According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s cold case files , detectives said forensic evidence indicated the Skibas and Chivers were likely killed near 72nd Avenue and Raleigh Street in Westminster.
