DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide in South Westminster following a disturbance call Thursday morning.
At around 3:35 a.m., deputies responded to a call in the area of West 72nd Avenue and Zuni Street.
Initially, deputies and detectives said the investigation was about a potential stabbing involving two males, according to a tweet from Adams County Sheriff’s Office .

Sgt. Adam Sherman confirmed to FOX31 that it is now a homicide investigation.
“One of the involved parties is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at an area hospital, and who we believe to be the other involved party was located deceased in the area,” Sherman wrote in an email to FOX31.
The specifics of the incident are still being investigated, according to Sherman.
There is no threat to the public.
