In an unprecedented move, the city of Denver is evicting approximately 800 illegal immigrant families from its shelters. This decision comes as a result of the overwhelming influx of illegal immigrants that have been relocated to the city over the past several months. It’s estimated that over 40,000 illegal immigrants have found their way to the Colorado capital, straining the city’s resources to the limit.

According to a recent report by Newsweek, around 140 illegal immigrant families were removed from the city’s shelters on Monday. City officials have stated that an additional 660 families will face eviction within the coming weeks. This mass removal is expected to impact over 3,000 individuals.

Denver, a known sanctuary city, has been struggling to manage this migrant surge. Fox News reports that the city has had difficulty finding the necessary resources to support the growing number of illegal immigrants.
