Fire damages 6 storage units in Fort Lupton

DENVER (KDVR) — A fire broke out at some storage units in Fort Lupton Saturday evening.

The Fort Lupton Fire Protection District told FOX31 that the fire happened at 5:50 p.m. in the 900 block of Denver Avenue.

FLFPD said smoke was coming from a building with six individual storage units when crews arrived, but the fire was quickly brought under control.

All six units were damaged in the fire, but the extent of the damage was unknown.

No one was injured, and the fire is under investigation.
