DENVER (KDVR) — Police were investigating after a body was found in an Aurora creek on Thursday afternoon.
The person found was a female, age unknown, according to the Aurora Police Department.

Two people in the area found the body and reported it around 12:15 p.m.
The scene was along Toll Gate Creek, in the area of Fitzsimons Parkway and East 17th Avenue. That’s just northwest of East Colfax Avenue and Interstate 225 and near the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
No further information was immediately available.
