Recalled Snack Sold In Colorado Poses ‘Serious’ Health Risk

A New York-based company is voluntarily recalling two brands of bagels sold in Colorado over severe health risks, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) .

Feel Good Foods is recalling the Gluten-Free Plain Cream Cheese Stuffed Mini Bagels (UPC 89903900283) and Everything-Flavored Cream Cheese Stuffed Mini Bagels (UPC 89903900286) over undeclared gluten from possible cross-contamination. Officials said anyone with a gluten allergy or severe sensitivity is at risk of a “serious allergic reaction” if they consume these products.

The recalled bagels are packaged in cardboard cartons with the ‘Feel Good Foods’ label and have Best By dates ranging from May 29, 2024, to September 17, 2025. Consumers can find the Best By date on the bottom of the carton.

The affected products were distributed nationwide through national retailers. They’re stored in the frozen section of these stores.

Feel Good Foods initiated the recall after they received a consumer report of an adverse reaction to gluten, the release states. No other Feels Good Foods products were affected by the recall.
