In response to this doubt, Stephen A. Smith passionately urged the Lakers stars to rise to the occasion and silence the hype surrounding Michael Malone’s team, especially after Anthony Davis publicly expressed his desire to spoil their party right from the series opener.
“Why the hell can’t you compete with the reigning defending Champions? They’ve wacked your a** 8 straight. What you gonna do about it? Anthony Davis opened training camp and said, ‘Yo we want them.
