Here’s what you get for $16K a month in Denver’s ‘canyon’ apartment

DENVER ( KDVR ) — An apartment complex in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood opened on Wednesday with a penthouse that costs over $15,000 a month, making it Denver’s most expensive apartment.

The building at the corner of 40th Street and Blake Street is called One River North , which you might’ve seen while driving around Denver. It’s the building with a canyon-like hole going through it.

The building comes with a moving river and plants to fill the canyon-like spaces. Now, it’s open for renters starting at $1,800 a month , which is actually lower than the average monthly rent of $1,984 as of February, according to Zillow.

However, some of the one-bed, one-bath apartments cost as much as over $3,000 a month.

While this is still within the range of an average apartment in Denver, if you’re looking for a four-person bedroom at the new complex, it’s going to cost you.
