A weekend that started off so promising ended in such frustration for the Yankees. Their offense looked lively during the series with the Cardinals, but poor starts from Will Warren and Nestor Cortes and some shoddy relief pitching (and defense, for that matter) left the club with another series loss. The Rockies did them a solid and beat Baltimore on Saturday, but sadly for the Yankees, Colorado couldn’t repeat the favor on Sunday.
