A woman was killed and two others wounded in a Friday morning shooting in Commerce City, Commerce City Police reported on the agency’s Facebook page.
Commerce City police were alerted about shots fired in the 7300 block of Oneida Drive around 1 a.m., Friday by their new gunfire detection software.
Officers arriving on scene found three people with gunshots. The victims included two women and one man. All three were taken to hospitals, where one of the women was pronounced dead.
Investigators are in the process of determining how the shooting unfolded and have not yet identified any suspects or made any arrests.
