One pedestrian was left dead after being struck by a vehicle in Aurora early Sunday morning, according to the Aurora Police Department.
The crash closed down roads at S. Peoria Street and Parker Road in south Aurora, near Interstate 225, according to Aurora police, who reported the crash on social media platform X.
Police had closed all southbound lanes of Parker Rd. near the scene of the incident. As of 8:02 a.m. APD said there was no ETA for the road’s re-opening.
The crash occurred around 6 a.m., according to police.
The fatal crash remains under investigation.
