Nikola Jokic’s reaction to Wolves rookie exposing Nuggets goes viral

The NBA community loves describing Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Rob Dillingham as shifty, and it seems he’s living up to that description already.

In Thursday’s preseason matchup between the Wolves and Denver Nuggets, Dillingham exposed the Nuggets defense in a highlight play. The Minnesota rookie crossed over to his right and faked a shot, putting big man Zeke Nnaji in the air and spinning around before dropping in a floater to finish off the play.

These moves, however, were not the piece that went viral. Instead, the reaction of Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic amassed more than 1.5 million views on X (formerly Twitter). Jokic looked down, putting his hand on his head in seeming frustration as the rest of the Nuggets bench simply stared on.

Dillingham finished with 15 points, 7 assists, and 2 rebounds on 6 of 14 shooting in 25 minutes of action. Despite a handful of impressive moments, Wolves coach Chris Finch has ‘mixed’ feelings on the 19-year-old thus far, pointing out there’s been too much dribbling.
