1 arrested in August homicide where man’s body was found shot in an alleyway

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police said a man was arrested for the shooting death of David Richardson, 28 , and is facing several charges.

The Denver Police Department reported in August that David Richardson was found dead in the 1200 block alley between North Verbena Street and North Wabash Street on the evening of Aug. 15.

Police said Richardson was known to his friends as “Envy,” or “E,” and was shot at an unknown location before his body was left in the alley.

On Thursday, police said they’d arrested Taleur Davis, 27, on investigation of first-degree murder, tampering with a deceased human body and tampering with physical evidence. According to jail records, Davis was also arrested for a parole violation.

Davis is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 1 for this case.
