Over half of Denver’s active voters casted their ballots early

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Election Day officially began on Tuesday, but according to the Denver Elections Division, over half of Denver residents cast their votes early.

Colorado is known to have some of the highest voter turnout in the country and makes up some of the tens of millions of votes already cast throughout the U.S .

By the end of Nov. 3, the Colorado Secretary of State said that 2,092,035 people returned their ballots , marking over half the 4,027,830 active voters in Colorado. Meanwhile, Denver’s voter turnout is about the same as the entire state.
