DENVER ( KDVR ) — Police and the U.S. Marshals Service Colorado Violent Offender Task Force arrested an Omaha, Nebraska homicide suspect in Westminster on Monday.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service , 22-year-old Dak Lam was arrested shortly after 8 p.m. at a home near West 136th Avenue and Huron Street.
Lam was wanted by the Omaha Police Department on a felony arrest warrant for first-degree murder in the Oct. 12 death of Keah Paljor, 21. Omaha officers responded to a 911 call about a shooting on that date near 29th and T streets. When officers arrived, they found Paljor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Lam was identified as the suspect and a warrant for his arrest was issued on Oct. 15.

Two days later on Oct. 17, the U.S. Marshals Service’s Metro Fugitive Task Force developed information that indicated Lam may have fled Omaha and traveled to the Denver metro.
After weeks of investigation, the U.S. Marshals Service noticed a black rental Ford Taurus sedan with Nebraska license plates pull up at a Westminster home that belonged to a family member of Lam’s.
