Dollar General marked the grand opening of its new distribution center in Aurora, Colorado, this morning with a celebration attended by employees, their families, company leadership, and local officials. The state-of-the-art, one million-square-foot facility is expected to create 400 new jobs, strengthening Dollar General’s presence in the western United States.
Todd Vasos, CEO of Dollar General, highlighted the significance of the Aurora center as the company’s first distribution hub in Colorado. “This milestone will not only bring jobs and career opportunities but also enhance our ability to serve customers across the region,” Vasos said.
As part of the celebration, Dollar General made donations of $10,000 each to Aurora Public Schools and the Food Bank of the Rockies, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting local education and addressing food insecurity.
