DENVER ( KDVR ) — An out-of-state fast-food chain known for its chicken is coming to Denver next year.
Starbird , known for its hand-breaded chicken and homemade dipping sauces, has several locations in California and recently signed a franchise agreement to expand to the greater Denver area.

In the coming years, there will be seven locations across Denver. Starbird said it expects to open the first location by mid-2025, with the rest of the locations set to roll out within the next few years. Starbird didn’t mention specific locations for stores in the Denver area.
The fast-food spots offer crispy chicken sandwiches, salads, tenders, wings, nuggets and more.
“Expanding beyond California for the first time is a landmark moment for Starbird and a testament to the demand for a new kind of fast food,” said Aaron Noveshen, founder and CEO of Starbird, in a press release. “Denver’s vibrant and discerning community is the perfect place to introduce our unique brand of chef-crafted crispy chicken.”
