Douglas County Sheriff’s investigators arrest suspect in Parker drug bust

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a suspect following a near two-month long narcotics investigation, resulting in a large seizure of illegal fentanyl and firearms in Parker.

Deputies arrested a 42-year-old man last week, according to a news release on Monday.

Vincent Pecor is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday and is free on $15,000 bond, according to court records. He has been arrested three previous times on drug charges in 2017 and 2016 in Douglas and Jefferson counties.

The drug bust operation began in late September when Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received intelligence information on a potential illegal operation at a residence in the 9200 block of East Summit Road after a motorist was pulled over for investigation of driving under the influence, according to sheriff’s.

Authorities said the Arapahoe County Special Investigation Unit received two additional tips confirming the residence was involved in an illegal narcotic selling operation.

A search warrant was issued and executed on Thursday, when authorities discovered illegal drugs and firearms in and around the house. Some of the items were buried in the yard, sheriff’s officials said.
