DENVER (KDVR) — On Tuesday, Denver police announced the arrest of an 18-year-old male suspect in connection to a Nov. 14 shooting that occurred near the intersection of East 61st Avenue and Tower Road.
The agency identified the suspect as Joe Griggs-Sanders, and police arrested him Tuesday. The shooting was reported at about 3:12 p.m. in the 18500 block of East 61st Avenue.
Officers found a juvenile with a gunshot wound at the scene.

The victim was transported to a hospital and remains in critical condition, the agency reported.
Griggs-Sanders is being held for investigation of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, attempt to influence a public servant, and criminal impersonation.
The Denver Police Department said it will not release further information “to protect the integrity of the investigation.” Final charges will be determined by the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
