The caller told Douglas County dispatchers that the car was on fire and the driver was still driving, despite damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. The caller said they told the driver their vehicle was on fire, but the driver continued to drive the still-burning car.

Deputies found the significantly damaged car in the driveway of a house in the Roxborough subdivision. The driver was cited for careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident involving a highway fixture and failing to report an accident to law enforcement.
