DENVER – A few hours after Denver firefighters extinguished a tree fire in Cheesman Park on Wednesday, they had to return for another tree on fire in the same area. The first fire happened just before noon, as flames rose above the nearby Cheesman Pavilion. About 6:40 p.m., the Denver Fire Department returned for the second fire.
