Some cities recorded temperatures 20 degrees below zero. Here’s where

DENVER ( KDVR ) — The snow stopped in Denver on Tuesday, but the chilly temperatures are here to stay.

During the weekend and the start of the workweek, areas across Colorado received several inches of snow, causing traffic backups and thousands of flight delays at the Denver International Airport.

Denver weather: Sunny skies before light snow Thursday morning

Denver only saw trace amounts of snow over the weekend , but by Monday night, the city had its first snowstorm of 2025 with several inches of snow by Tuesday afternoon.

While the snowstorms are on pause for the moment, the cold weather is sticking around as areas across northern Colorado saw temperatures as low as minus 28 degrees Wednesday morning.
