Anne Marie Hochhalter, a survivor of the Columbine High School tragedy who was shot and left paralyzed following the tragedy, passed away on Sunday due to natural causes.
In 1999, Hochhalter was shot in the back and chest while dining with friends in the cafeteria of Columbine High School in Colorado. Twelve people died in the shooting, after Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold opened fire.
