Thieves take $20K worth of merchandise in smash-and-grab at Westminster golf store

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (KDVR) — A Westminster golf store is on high alert after it was victim to a smash and grab earlier this month.

Around 4:30 a.m. on March 9, Embers Golf in Westminster was victim to a smash and grab. The suspects made off with $20,000 worth of gear.

“We’re down about twenty grand just in retail goods, obviously the front door was broken so that was about $500 just to get them to board it and then we have another five or six hundred to get it replaced,” said Trevor Andruss, one of the owners.

In the surveillance video you see the suspects pull into the parking lot and stop at the entrance. You can see two flashes of light from the gun going off from the passenger window as the hatch door is lifting. Then moments later they are filling the Audi Q-7 with as much as they can…
