Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and his top aides used an encryption app that auto-deletes messages to communicate about the illegal immigration crisis, according to CBS News Colorado.
The TV station reported that Johnston and 14 of his advisors, lawyers and appointees used the app Signal as part of a group within the administration called “Strike Force.”
CBS News Colorado quoted a mayoral spokesperson saying Johnston’s use of the messaging app was prompted by President Donald Trump and how his administration “could have significant impacts on how Denver operates.”…
