DENVER ( KDVR ) — Two people are in custody after shots were fired at police during a chase along Interstate 225, leading to a crash on Interstate 25 early Wednesday morning.
The Aurora Police Department told FOX31’s Jim Hooley that around 1:30 a.m., police were pursuing suspects wanted on suspicion of felony menacing.
Police said they were following a red car from East Colfax Avenue onto I-225 heading south, then, they said a white pickup truck appeared and allegedly tried to block police from chasing the car.
