A motorcyclist is dead after being hit by a BMW sedan at the intersection of Thornton Parkway and Welby Road Tuesday night.
At about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, a 17-year-old male driving a BMW sedan was turning southbound onto Welby Road when he crashed into a Harley Davidson motorcycle, with two people riding it, traveling eastbound on Thornton Parkway, Thornton police said in a news release Wednesday morning.
Both people riding the motorcycle — a 38-year-old male and 12-year-old female — were transported to the hospital. The male later died at the hospital and the female remains in critical condition, the release said.
