Girl stabbed during argument at Aurora school, police say

AURORA, Colo. — A girl was seriously injured when another girl stabbed her during an argument at an Aurora middle school Wednesday afternoon, Aurora Police said.

Police said the stabbing happened about 1:20 p.m. on an athletic field on the campus of Aurora Science and Tech Middle School, a grades 6-8 school off Fitzsimmons Parkway. Two students got into an argument, and one of them stabbed the other with a kitchen-type knife, police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and is expected to survive. The suspect was taken into custody on an aggravated assault charge…
