ICE Fines 3 Denver Businesses Over $8 Million for Hiring Unauthorized Workers

In a recent crackdown by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), three Denver businesses have been handed stiff penalties totaling over $8 million for employing workers not authorized to work in the United States. ICE’s Denver office uncovered a range of employment eligibility violations after auditing the workplaces, leading to substantial fines for each company involved.

CCS Denver, Inc. now faces the largest fine of $6,186,171, found in violation of hiring practices after an audit revealed a 100% substantive violation rate and confirmed the knowing employment of at least 87 unauthorized workers. Similarly, PBC Commercial Cleaning Systems, Inc. is facing a $1,599,510 fine due to a 74% violation rate and patterns that revealed at least 12 unauthorized workers were knowingly hired. Green Management Denver wraps up the list with a fine of $270,195, as working under the weight of a 100% violation rate, they were found to have 44 unauthorized employees on their payroll…
