DENVER ( KDVR ) — The beer has been tasted and the results are in: 16 Colorado breweries make some of the best brews in the world.
The 2025 World Beer Cup concluded on Thursday in Indianapolis, and awards were presented in 112 different beer categories. The event is known as the “Olympics of Beer” and is described on the competition’s website as “the most prestigious beer competition in the world.”

In total, 21 beers from 16 Colorado breweries, 15 of which are independent craft breweries, received gold, silver and bronze medals in several categories.
