DENVER — Denver police are investigating the death of an inmate at the Downtown Detention Center Wednesday night.
The Denver Sheriff Department said at around 9 p.m. Wednesday, a male in their custody was found non-responsive in a housing unit. A medical emergency team was immediately called and performed life-saving efforts, according to the sheriff department, but he was pronounced dead shortly after.
