Illegally parked car in Highlands Ranch leads to massive bust

DENVER ( KDVR ) — An illegally parked car led Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies to a massive bust , finding a gun, drug paraphernalia and multiple stolen plates IDs, credit cards and social security cards.

On Thursday, the Douglas County Sheriff posted about the bust on X. According to the sheriff’s office, the bust took place on Thursday, May 1, at 7:15 a.m. after deputies spotted “a suspicious vehicle” at 1265 Sgt. Jon Stiles Boulevard in Highlands Ranch.

The sheriff’s office said the vehicle was illegally parked across two spaces, and once officers approached the vehicle, two men appeared to be passed out inside the car…
