AURORA, Colo. — An Aurora Police officer was injured while attempting to join a pursuit of a stolen vehicle Friday morning.
At about 5:51 a.m., officers located a Ford F-150 Raptor that was reported stolen out of Denver, according to police. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop and led officers on a chase, police said.
At about 5:57 a.m., an officer attempting to join the pursuit entered the intersection of South Buckley Road and East Dartmouth Avenue with lights and sirens on and was involved in a crash.
