22-Year-Old Arrested After Reckless Dirt Bike Stunt on Denver City Streets

Denver’s streets have once again been witness to a risky blend of excitement and danger, with a young individual pushing the limits on a dirt bike not meant for city asphalt. On Friday, Denver Police District 6 officers had to swiftly transition from observers to actors as they spotted a 22-year-old male suspect indulging in reckless exhibition on the road.

The encounter, occurring in the area of 20th and Market Streets, was not a display of innocuous playfulness. The suspect, whose actions involved revving the engine forcefully enough to capture police attention, decided to try to simply walk away from the officers’ approach on foot after attempting to escape on his dirt bike. A brief struggle ensued before he was securely detained. As reported by the Denver Police Department, he was subsequently arrested for “investigation of exhibition of speed, reckless driving, and resisting arrest.”…
