AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — Some statistics show that crime rates in Aurora are on a downward trend.
The new data comes as the city is dealing with a deadly officer-involved shooting on Monday. There are very signs of the incident that happened at the park and ride near Green Valley Ranch.
Suspect dead, officer injured at off-airport parking facility
On Monday, a gate remained damaged and an entrance was blocked. Aurora police say an officer damaged that gate as they answered the call for help.
