DENVER (KDVR) — A two-alarm fire that displaced one resident at a multi-family building in Aurora has prompted a reminder from firefighters.
Tuesday around 10:15 a.m., Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a fire near South Buckley Road and East Smoky Hill Road after a 911 caller reported fire burning on the walls of an apartment.
The caller began evacuating neighbors, and when firefighters arrived, they found smoke and fire coming from the first floor of the two-story building. AFR said it requested a second alarm “due to the high life hazard and possibility of fire extension.”…
