Man dies in crash that closed 6th Avenue in Aurora Monday afternoon

DENVER (KDVR) — A man is dead following a crash Monday afternoon in Aurora.

According to a report from the Aurora Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of East 6th Avenue and Moline Street just after 2 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a crash.

A Ford Fusion and a Nissan Altima, each with one occupant, were involved in the crash.

The police department said a man who was driving one of the vehicles was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but died shortly after arrival. His identity will be determined by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office…
