DENVER — A lawsuit that accused the Nestle Purina pet food plant of negligence and being a nuisance over its stench was dismissed exactly one year to the day it was filed, but now a new claim has taken its place.
On May 28, 2024, Robert Fields filed a civil complaint against Nestle Purina Petcare Co., owner of the plant that has been operating near Interstate 70 in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood for decades.
