Denver Public Schools officials warn of more school closures ahead

Denver Public Schools officials are expected to warn board members Thursday night that more school closures are likely in the coming years, citing continued enrollment declines.

The board of education meets today at 4:30 p.m. for a workshop in which the district’s strategic regional analysis, among other things, is expected to be discussed along with public comment.
