AURORA, Colo. — A 15-year-old Aurora girl was shot and killed at a party last weekend, prompting community members to hold a vigil in her honor Friday night as police continue investigating the incident that left two others injured.
K’Tahna Jordin Smith, known to friends and family as Jordin, died shortly after being taken to the hospital following a shooting off East Hoffman Boulevard last Sunday night. Aurora police say a fight broke out at the party, and a 14-year-old boy from Colorado Springs began shooting.
