Each of the films included in the series is worth seeing at least once (or for the tenth time—they’re classics). The 2007 release Realtime includes the likes of Tanner Rainville, Wiley Miller, and Corey Vanular. Zig Zag dropped in 2018 and features Parker White, Laurent De Martin, and Sämi Ortlieb, to name a small number of the stellar cast. The most recent release, Romance, came out in 2019 and is, as its name implies, a love letter to freeskiing.Teddybear Crisis, the only ski movie not made by Level 1 in the mix, was the mid-2000s brainchild of Henrik Rostrup and Kris Ostness. It’s considered to be one of the best freeskiing films of all time and includes footage of the towering Chad’s Gap, plus skiing from Tanner Hall and Simon Dumont, among others.In short, the summer’s long, hot, and, at times, dull. You know what isn’t boring, though? Catching up on your ski movie…..
