Road rage suspect arrested after reportedly pointing gun at driver, kids on US 36

DENVER (KDVR) — Police arrested a driver who reportedly pointed a gun at another driver who had kids in the car near U.S. 36 on Tuesday night.

The Westminster Police Department said the reporting party was driving near U.S. 36 with two kids in the car. Just before the off-ramp to Church Ranch Boulevard, another driver allegedly pointed a gun at them.

Driver wanted for firing shots during reported road rage incident

Police found the reported car with a gun inside and arrested the driver. The name of the driver and potential charges haven’t been released.

“Please, please, please avoid engaging with aggressive drivers. It’s not worth it. Stay calm and call 911 if you feel threatened,” the department said in a post on X.
